Nicola is the recently appointed Managing Director of NASEBA Capital.
Before joining Naseba Capital, Nicola spent four years in Saudi Arabia to establish and lead the KAUST Innovation Fund, the venture fund supporting KAUST’s pipeline of technology-based startup projects and investing in high-profile international technology companies. Under Nicola’s leadership, the fund has invested in more than 25 startups in a wide range of sectors, from renewables to biotech, from drones to smart cities.
For over a decade, Nicola co-led EonTech Ventures, an independent Luxembourg-based venture capital fund focused on French early-stage technology, as Founder and Managing Partner. He has also spent a substantial portion of his career as a management consultant at Arthur D. Little, in the Paris and Milan office, where he was a member of the Global TIME (Telecommunication, Information, Media & Electronics) practice. In 2011, as co-founder, he participated in the establishment of a venture capital fund in Russia.
Nicola holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Business Administration and Economics MS from Università L. Bocconi.
Nicola is a passionate equestrian, scuba diving instructor and FAA/EASA certified private pilot.
Antoaneta leverages 10 years’ experience in business development & deal origination across technology, healthcare, and energy, advising clients on entering growth markets and identifying strategic investors & partners.
She has held senior roles for Naseba over the last 8 years, maximizing business development & operational efforts across Chicago, Dubai & Bangalore.
She has successfully led the investor services team responsible for acquiring investment opportunities matching the investment criteria of the investor network.
Antoaneta originally joined Naseba as a Sales Manager, leading a team of Analysts in charge of connecting global renewable energy technology firms with pre-qualified buyers & strategic partners across the Middle East, Africa, China & Latin America.
Antoaneta holds a BSBA from the International University of Monaco.
Shahid holds more than seven years’ experience in investor relations, deal origination, private placement and venture business development. He has advised and promoted companies from more than 20 countries across multiple sectors from real estate, renewables to tech and healthcare, building strong deal flow relations with family offices, institutional and corporate VCs in the Gulf and China.
Over the last few years, he’s been actively focused on start-ups in developing segments under tech (fintech, deep tech, AR, enterprise blockchain) and healthcare (biotech, medtech, and services).
A specialist in multi-cultural business, Shahid has worked on bridging innovation from developed regions with emerging markets. Today he combines the experience of both regions in order to drive success for Naseba Capital’s core investor mandates.
Shahid holds an MSc in Engineering Management and a BS in Biotechnology.
Immanuel has six years’ experience in consulting and raising capital for top-tier technology start-ups, healthcare, biotechnology, real estate and mining companies worldwide. Over the years he has built extensive relationships across the Middle East and Asia with major financial institutions, private equity and venture firms, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals. Immanuel is striving to better facilitate and establish entrepreneurial and investment bridges between North America, Europe, the GCC, and China.
Over the last few years, Immanuel has been actively focusing on strategic partnerships, tech transfer and venture fundraising between life science innovation from developed markets and emerging markets such as the Middle-East and Asia.
Immanuel holds a Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) from Heriot-Watt University, UK and is currently pursuing CFA Level 1.
Camille has been with Naseba since the beginning of 2017 supporting the fundraising activity of early-stage tech companies by launching and coordinating investment related events and roadshows in the GCC region.
In 2015, Camille held a position as a private banker assistant at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management in Monaco. He supported a team of private bankers advising HNWI individuals on investments and credit structuring.
Camille holds a Master in Wealth Management from IAE Graduate School of Management and a Master in Finance from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France.
Since April 2017, Aleksandra has held an Analyst position at Naseba Investor Services, responsible for researching and acquiring global investment opportunities matching the investors’ mandates across the Middle East and China.
Aleksandra is currently completing her Economics Degree from the University of Economics in Bulgaria.
Gagan has held senior roles for Naseba over the last 9 years. Based out of our office in Bangalore, he has successfully contributed to deal origination, identified strategic investors and partners across Latin America, GCC, and Asia.
Gagan has a strong interest in tech and healthcare sectors and he has built solid relations with investors across the GCC and Asia. Prior to joining Naseba, he worked at DELL and Hewlett Packard as an analyst.
Gagan graduated in Commerce from Mangalore University.
Amir has been with Naseba since the beginning of 2018. He joined as a Digital Marketing Manager for the Investor Services division. He is responsible for the overall branding and communication for the service line.
In 2014, Amir held a position as the Head of Marketing at Payments & Cards Network in Amsterdam where he was responsible for overall marketing communications activities and lead generation. He is also the founder of the Payments & Cards eMagazine (PCM) and ran the Editor-in-Chief position.
Amir holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Entertainment Management from Stenden University in the Netherlands.
